Welcome to our Forecourt and Spar shop
Situated in the centre of Millom is our Shell petrol forecourt.
Wharton’s is proud to be associated with the Shell brand, offering world leading fuels and oils developed through Shell’s close partnership with the Ferrari F1 team.
The quality theme continues in our Spar forecourt shop, one of the leading brand names in convenience and forecourt shopping, offering a wide range of everyday foodstuffs, household products, treats, newspapers and magazines. Combining excellent promotions and Special Offers, our Spar store is a great place to do your ‘top-up shop’ or simply to find a bargain.
The store boasts a full ‘off licence’ featuring a great range of expertly sourced spirits, wines and beers, many of which are ready chilled and perfect to pick up for dinner or on the way to the party.
We also offer fully stocked dairy chillers including high quality, locally produced items such as the famous Cartmel sticky toffee pudding, Waberthwaite sausage, bacon and ham and tempting English Lakes ice cream. Add to this our extensive grocery and confectionery range and there is something for everyone.
Located at the rear of the forecourt site is our excellent Wash Centre. Here we are able to offer a modern Drive-Thru car wash, two high pressure Jet wash stations, and vacuum, air and water facilities. Most of these are cash operated and can be used 24/7, so there really are no more excuses for that dirty car!
24 hour fuel
24-hour Pay at Pump Fuel
We’ve installed a 24hrs ‘Pay at Pump’ on our pumps 1 and 2 for use OUTSIDE of our normal trading hours. (yes, when the forecourt shop is closed)
Credit & Debit cards, Amex and Allstar fuel cards are accepted.
Unfortunately the system doesn’t allow us to accept Shell fuel cards or Shell GO+ loyalty.
